She Prayed for Rain is a part of the Sundance collection, painted during a time in my life of deep soul searching and inner cleansing. I began working with layers of tissue paper as my base to form the unexpected patterns and movement within the piece. She Prayed for Rain represents a time of life when the soul is parched, and praying for rain is asking the Holy Spirit for refreshment.
