Hunger of the Pine was drawn after I visited my father in Reno, Nevada while he was in poor health. This drawing reflects both my sadness and the joyful memories we shared in Lake Tahoe when I was young. The smell of pine trees has always reminded me of my father, and more often than not, I hunger for them.
