Agave Kaleidoscope was created using a method I call reverse painting. I began by painting the entire background with colors and patterns before the image was even drawn. Then I sketched the figure and painted just the face. The most fun part was filling in the white background. I didn’t know what the final piece would look like until the very end, and that sense of discovery made the process especially exciting.
